Writing
It wanted to be a poem, really. Safe for non-fandom reading.

Sun-kissed
The sunset stops me as I pass the beach. It captivates me, fills my eyes. The marvelous colours, the peaceful glow, the salty air, swirling free. Heaven-sent
Two figures on the sand, monochrome, in gold. It is obvious. Even from this distance their love is obvious. Subtle, but obvious. I am unable to move or look away, entranced by their rapture together. Here stand two who understand the beauty of nature.
A look passes briefly in one’s eyes, too harsh for this scenery. The burden of maturity, the knowledge of the hardships of life – that freedom does not come freely, that peace is won unmercifully. But still I watch, as one rests his hand on a shoulder, softly, tenderly. It’s okay, it says. We’re in it together. And nothing will take this moment away.
Tank tops ruffling, long hair dancing. Chests, swelling slowly with life. Their strong bodies stand, eased by one another. The moment theirs, I drive away, their sun-kissed image still with me.
The look in their eyes...it’s enough to rival the sunset.
